um..... i know is sounds wired, but i really don't know is't finished yet.

I think he's falling and getting rid of the deviant thoughts as he falls. I think that's why it's a thicker pile at the top, and it's a thinner pile closer to his head. Maybe he's falling in love and realizing that all those things he used to dream about aren't as special as the girl he thinks about. Maybe in the end of his fall, the only thought left will be one thin picture of the woman he loves ... and she'll be clothed and thin on one side, and not wearing any clothes and pregnant on her other side ... but smiling on both sides. It's a deviant thought, but only because he's confused between love and lust, and he hasn't yet matured enough to realise that lust is fine, as long as it's for the person you love, and as long as love wins out in the day ;)

Just a thought.

That is very clever, I certainly haven't seen anything quite like it on DA. Great texturing, I love the cracks. I don't know if I like the transition from the photo to the vector lines, though...it's rather abrupt at the part above the eye...maybe if the lines blended into the skin more? Or maybe that's just me ^^; I like the placement of the lines though, and how the one group starts above the eye and the other at the top of the head...er...top of where the head is cut off, heh.

As for giving it a more finished look...personally, I like what you've got, and I think if you added anything, it shouldn't be drastic. Maybe even something simple as a border?
